Landarbide with the 200 Kg stone.
We offer exhibitions of Basque Rural Sports combining these performances and adapting them to the place where they will be performed. For example, Basque pentathlon between two teams formed by an axeman and a stone-lifter. Work to do:
- stone-lifter exhibition with stones of different shapes and weights
- speed-proof, less strokes cutting-proof, one-hand cutting and hoe-cutting by the axemen.
- challenge between the two teams in the Basque pentathlon way: axe-cutting, stone-lifting, saw-cutting, weight carriage and running.
The team finishing first the prefixed work will be the winner.
To finish the exhibition, spectators can participate in the saw-cutting, weight carriage, tug-of-war...
At the end, we can also make wood-carving with a chainsaw.
